About us
The institution began its journey at the residence of Dr. Munshi Md. Reza Sekandar, a devoted guardian of two autistic children, reflecting its strong humanitarian foundation. On 07 March 2014, the school was renamed in honor of the distinguished social worker and Language Movement veteran Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain Musa Mia, recognizing his lifelong contributions to society.

10th Special Olympics Bangladesh National Games 2022
At the 10th Special Olympics Bangladesh National Games 2022, participants secured 1st place in bocce and 2nd place in badminton.

Victory Day 2023
During Victory Day 2023 in Jhenaidah, participants secured 1st place in march and display and top positions in 50m races and softball throw across boys’ and girls’ categories.

Special Olympics Bangladesh 2024
At the Special Olympics Bangladesh 2024 Divisional Talent Hunt, participants won 1st place in badminton, basketball, and cricket across various events.

Employment-Oriented Education
The school has a total of 9 teachers, of whom 7 have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. The school is divided into four sections to ensure proper care.

Sports and Cultural
An academic calendar is published at the beginning of every school year, which outlines the schedule of all activities for the academic year.

Celebration of National Days
Various special events are organized at the school. These include the Annual Picnic, Fruit Festival, and the celebration of National Days.

On the occasion of the 34th International Day of Persons with Disabilities and the 27th National Disability Day 2025, she has been selected in the “Successful Person with Special Needs” category.
