Language Soldier Md. Zahid Hossain Musa

Md. Zahid Hossain Musa was born on February 2, 1932, in the house of his maternal grandfather, into a respectable Muslim family in Paikpara village of Kaliganj, which was then a sub-division of Jessore district (now Jhenaidah district). His father, Mr. Mia Abdul Latif Biswas, was the landlord of the Narikelbaria Estate in Jhenaidah district.
He was involved in the 1952 Language Movement, demanding Bengali as the mother tongue. He dreamed lifelong of improving the fate of the people of Jhenaidah. He was a successful businessman. He established the first Kinshuk Printing Press or printing house in Jhenaidah, which is still operational. He spent all the property of his landlord father for the welfare of the people to improve their quality of life.
Mr. Musa Mia was a man of diverse talents. His unique creation is the book of poetry named 'Onek Derite' (Very Late). The Zahedee Foundation is a living reflection of the colorful and active life of Language Soldier Md. Zahid Hossain Musa. The Zahedee Foundation conducts various social activities, including education, health, and poverty alleviation. The Musa Mia Buddhi Bikash Biddaloy is run through this foundation.
