Our Story

On 19/03/2009 AD, as a result of the sincere efforts of some very kind-hearted people and the guardians of intellectually disabled and autistic children, Musa Mia Buddhi Bikash (Autistic) Biddaloy, Jhenaidah, was established under the name SWID Bangladesh School for the Intellectually Disabled, Jhenaidah. The school activities started on the ground floor of the house of Dr. Munshi Md. Reza Sekandar, the guardian of two autistic children.

Due to a lack of financial support, considering the humanitarian aspect, an application was made to the Zahedee Foundation for financial assistance. The Foundation promised financial aid.

From 12/09/2013 AD, the Zahedee Foundation started providing a monthly grant of Tk. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) to the school. The grant increased gradually. Currently, since 01/01/2019 AD, they have been providing a monthly grant of Tk. 1,18,000/- (One Lakh Eighteen Thousand) for the remuneration of teachers and staff. They also provide necessary funds at various times for Eid bonuses, various competitions, picnics, and the purchase of an easy bike.

On 07/03/2014 AD, the school decided to propose naming the school after the distinguished and respected social worker and Language Soldier Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain Musa Mia, who is the father of the prominent industrialist and social worker Mr. Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee (Mohul). After the proposal was accepted, the school was named Musa Mia Buddhi Bikash (Autistic) Biddaloy.

Mr. Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee (Mohul), Executive Director of Zahedee Foundation and Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, registered 12 decimals of land on Circuit House Road in the name of the school, with an estimated value of Tk. 60,00,000/- (Sixty Lakh). The school is currently operating in a three-storied building (estimated value Tk. 1.5 crore) constructed on 14.5 decimals of purchased land at 30, Kobi Golam Mostofa Road, Jhenaidah.
